ApeX Omni Fees (2026): Tiers, Funding, Withdrawals

Verified against ApeX's fee, VIP, cross-collateral, delisting, withdrawal, prediction-market and Event pages on 2026-09-24.

ApeX Omni charges the familiar maker-taker way, and its docs are unusually complete about the ladder, the funding formula and the routes money takes in and out. This page states each rate the docs publish, with the two places they stay quiet — the liquidation fee rate and the size of any backstop — named as gaps rather than filled.

Trading fees: seven VIP levels

"Following the VIP Program Update on 1 October 2025, all users are now on a single VIP Program Fee Tier system. Your tier is determined by whichever is better: your 14-day trading volume or your $APEX / $esAPEX staking amount." The VIP page notes the schedule "was last updated on October 20, 2025".

ApeX Omni VIP fee levels
Level 14-day volume (Omni Perps) or APEX + esAPEX staked Maker Taker
1 < $5,000,000 ≤ 25,000 0.020% 0.050%
2 ≥ $5,000,000 ≥ 25,000 0.015% 0.045%
3 ≥ $25,000,000 ≥ 100,000 0.010% 0.040%
4 ≥ $100,000,000 ≥ 250,000 0.005% 0.035%
5 ≥ $500,000,000 0.000% 0.030%
6 ≥ $1,000,000,000 0.000% 0.028%
7 ≥ $2,000,000,000 0.000% 0.025%

The rules around the table matter as much as the numbers. Volume counts "14-day rolling trading volume on Omni Perps only. Grid Bot and Vault transactions are excluded." Staking qualifies you "for Levels 1-4" only; "for Levels 5-7, qualification is based solely on trading volume". The level is "re-evaluated every day": a snapshot at 07:00 UTC, new fees "by 08:00 UTC the same day". "VIP discounts do not stack with referral or affiliate discounts — only the single best rate is applied", and "once a referred user reaches VIP Level 2 or higher, the referrer stops receiving commissions on that user's trades". High-volume accounts can request custom rates. Around the schedule: "no cancellation fees", "zero gas fees" because "ApeX Omni fully subsidises gas", and fees "deducted in USDT from your account equity immediately on execution".

Fees by product

Fees by product on ApeX Omni
Product Fee Notes
Crypto perpetuals VIP table above Hourly funding, ±0.05% cap per the docs
TradFi perpetuals (stocks, indexes, commodities) "Same interface, order types, and fee structure as crypto perps" Separate TradFi account; closed weekends and US public holidays
Prediction Market (Polymarket order books, spot) ApeX Omni taker 1% · maker 0.5%, plus the Polymarket fee Settled in Polymarket USD (PUSD); a fast-withdrawal fee applies when moving funds to the Prediction Account
Event (Up/Down, 3–60 min) None: "no trading fees", "no funding fees" All-or-nothing; a wrong call loses the full committed amount
Grid Bot Standard perp schedule The promotional −0.002% maker incentive "ended on 1 October 2025"; USDT margin only

The Spot Swap product, which charged 0.9% plus network fees, "closes on August 5, 2026 at 10:00 AM UTC" per the delisting notice still on its page; it is listed here only so a reader who finds the old rate knows it no longer applies.

Funding

"Funding settles every hour, on the hour (UTC)"; "only traders holding a position at the exact settlement timestamp pay or receive funding", positive rates mean longs pay shorts, and the amount is "based on your position value at settlement time". The rate is built from an interest rate and a premium index, "both updated every minute", with a one-hour TWAP:

Funding Rate (F) = P + clamp(I − P, +0.05%, −0.05%)

That is the formula as the docs write it, bounds in that order; the clamp holds the interest minus premium term inside ±0.05%. "ApeX Omni caps the hourly funding rate at ±0.05%. Any amount beyond that band is absorbed by the platform - not passed on to users." The interest rate is the settlement-currency borrowing rate minus the base-asset rate, divided by 24 — the docs' BTC example gives 0.00125% an hour — and the premium index measures the impact bid and ask against the index price. One caution from the API: the public symbols endpoint carries a per-contract field named fundingMaxRate, which on 2026-09-24 read 0.000469 on BTC and ETH and 0.000305 on most majors but 0.005 on 29 contracts and 0.02 on ten. The docs read on 2026-09-24 do not define that field, so this page quotes the documented ±0.05% cap and notes that the API suggests wider bounds on some long-tail contracts. ApeX is not in this site's funding screener.

Cross-collateral costs

Deposits and withdrawals

Crypto deposits cost the source chain's gas, paid by you in its native token. Fiat card deposits run through Alchemy Pay: "ApeX Omni does not charge any fees for fiat deposits. All applicable fees are charged by Alchemy Pay." TRON USDT deposits route through Halliday at "a current base rate of 0.25%" plus TRON network gas, with "0%" from ApeX. Withdrawals leave from the Funding Account by one of four routes:

Withdrawal routes and fees on ApeX Omni
Route Fee Timing
Normal withdrawal Gas, "automatically deducted" from the Funding Account Waits for the next Layer 2 block, "typically mined every 4 hours"
Fast withdrawal, Arbitrum or BNB Chain 2 USDT "Almost instant" via a withdrawal liquidity provider
Fast withdrawal, Ethereum Gas price × withdrawal-initiation gas limit × ETH price (the docs’ worked example: 5 gwei × 200,000 gas × $3,500 ETH = 3.5 USDT) "Almost instant"
Force withdrawal L1 gas paid by you zkLink forced exit, then a claim on the per-chain L1 contract

"Fast withdrawal is only supported on the following chains: Ethereum, Arbitrum, and BNB Chain." Withdrawals over TRON are "planned for a future release", and fiat withdrawal "is in development".

FAQ

What does a round trip cost at Level 1?

Two taker fills cost 0.10% of notional; two maker fills cost 0.04%; one of each 0.07%. Funding adds up to 0.05% per hour held, in either direction, on the documented cap.

Can staking alone reach zero maker?

No. Staking counts for Levels 1 to 4, where maker bottoms at 0.005%; the 0% maker levels require $500 million or more of 14-day volume.

How do the rates compare with other venues?

Level 1 sits a touch above Hyperliquid's 0.045% taker and 0.015% maker and well above the 0% schedules on Lighter's Standard accounts and Paradex's retail tier. The fee comparison lists every schedule with its verification date, and the Hyperliquid vs ApeX page weighs the fee gap against the custody difference.
