KYC on perp DEXs: what each venue's terms actually say
Every row restates the venue's own Terms of Use as read on 2026-09-29. "None stated" means the full text we read contains no identity-verification requirement; it is a statement about that document, not a promise the venue will never ask.
Of the 14 venues this site covers, 1 requires identity verification before you open an account, 3 reserve the right to ask for it, 1 mentions KYC only for third-party payment providers, and 9 state no requirement at all. That last group is what people mean by "no-KYC", and the phrase hides two things worth knowing before you connect a wallet.
- No KYC step is not the same as open to everyone. Every one of these venues restricts access by country or sanctions status in the same Terms, and all but Lighter explicitly forbid using a VPN or other means to disguise where you are. A venue that never asks for a passport still says you may not use it from a restricted country, and can cut access if it finds you do.
- Discretion clauses still apply. Several venues with no KYC requirement keep a general right to suspend or restrict accounts at their discretion, and on-chain activity is public. None of this is anonymity.

"—" means no date appears in the text we read. edgeX also publishes an older Terms document in its GitBook (edgeX Trading Inc.); Jupiter publishes two copies of its Terms, in its user docs and its developer docs, that name the operator differently. Both are noted on the venue pages.
Where KYC does come in
- Buying crypto with a card or bank transfer. On- and off-ramp providers run their own identity checks; Extended's Terms say those details are not shared with it.
- Prop-firm payouts. Several prop firms that fund accounts on these venues require KYC before paying out, even when the venue itself does not; see prop firms on perp DEXs.
- Taxes. No KYC at the venue does not change what you owe where you live. The EU guide covers how perps are treated there.
What this page will not tell you
How to reach a venue from a country its Terms restrict. That is a breach of the Terms on every venue above, it can cost you your funds, and this site does not publish it.
