Hyperliquid Deposit Not Showing: Minimums by Network
Minimums and timings verified against Hyperliquid's official support docs on 2026-09-15. They change; the deposit pop-up shows the current estimate. Normal deposit steps are on the deposits and withdrawals page.
Hyperliquid runs two deposit systems. USDC arrives through Hyperliquid's own flow (Across Protocol for email accounts, the Arbitrum bridge for wallet accounts). Every other asset arrives through Unit, "an independent team", on a per-network address that accepts exactly the assets the docs list and nothing else. Most missing deposits are one of three things: wrong asset, wrong network, or below the minimum.
USDC deposits
Email accounts support "USDC deposits via Arbitrum, Base, Ethereum, and Polygon. If you sent a different asset, or sent USDC on any other network, it will not be credited." The flow is managed by Across Protocol, with transfer history on its site. A wrong asset on a supported network is "automatically redirected to your email wallet within 10 minutes". Below 5 USDC: "your funds will not be credited, and are automatically redirected to your email wallet. Deposits below 1 USDC are lost." Retrieve redirected funds by exporting the email wallet (see the connection page). USDC sent to the older, Privy-generated email deposit address "will still be processed"; try refreshing the page. Wallet accounts support "USDC deposits via Arbitrum only. Deposits below 5 USDC are lost."
Unit-managed rails
| Network | Accepts | Minimum (below = lost) | Arrival | Unit revert covers |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bitcoin | BTC only | 0.0003 BTC | ~30 minutes | — |
| Ethereum | ETH, ENA | 0.007 ETH · 120 ENA | ~5 minutes | USDC, USDT, WETH on Ethereum; ETH on Arbitrum |
| Solana | SOL, 2Z, ANSEM, BONK, FARTCOIN, PUMP, SPX | 0.12 SOL · 150 2Z · 60 ANSEM · 1,800,000 BONK · 55 FARTCOIN · 5,500 PUMP · 32 SPX | ~1 minute | USDC, USDT, WSOL on Solana |
| Avalanche | AVAX only | 1.5 AVAX | ~1 minute | — |
| Base | VIRTUAL only | 25 VIRTUAL | ~6 minutes | — |
| Monad | MON only | 450 MON | ~1 minute | — |
| Plasma | XPL only | 60 XPL | ~1 minute | USDT0 on Plasma |
On every rail, "deposits below [the minimum] will result in a loss of funds", and an unsupported asset or wrong chain "will fail and not be credited" with, in most cases, "no way to retrieve these funds currently, unless Unit adds support for them". The exceptions are the revert cases in the last column, where "you can try Unit's revert feature". If you sent the right asset on the right chain above the minimum and it still shows "Failed", the docs send you to Unit's support, not Hyperliquid's. Two specific traps the docs call out: "depositing USDC on Ethereum or ETH on Base will fail", and "depositing USDC on Solana will fail and not be credited".
Fiat
"Fiat on-ramp is powered by Swapped.com, an independent service provider." Questions about a fiat deposit go to Swapped's own live chat or email, "available 24/7"; Hyperliquid's docs hold no other information about it.
The deposit arrived but the perps balance is lower
The docs describe two versions of this: a spot-to-perps transfer of 1,000 USDC, or a 1,000 USDC Arbitrum deposit, after which "Available Balance" shows less. The reason: "if you have open positions on cross margin with negative unrealized P&L, your deposits and Spot to Perp transfers will go toward collateral for those open positions". Nothing is missing; it is margin. The margin-modes page explains the accounting.
FAQ
I sent USDC on Solana. Is it gone?
Per the docs, USDC on Solana "will fail and not be credited", but USDC, USDT and WSOL on Solana are listed under Unit's revert feature. Try the revert first.
How long before I should worry?
Past the arrival time in the table, and past the estimate shown in the deposit pop-up. Bitcoin is the slow one at about 30 minutes; most others are minutes.
Who do I contact?
USDC issues: Hyperliquid support. Any Unit rail: Unit's support. Fiat: Swapped.com. The docs are explicit that Unit and Swapped are independent of Hyperliquid.
