Vest Markets Fees (2026): Session Fees and Funding
Verified against Vest's fee, funding, liquidation and Vest Capital pages, its exchange notices and the public exchangeInfo API on 2026-09-30.
"Vest charges zero or minimal fees during regular market hours", and "a fee applies during less active hours for traditional assets in order to maintain tighter spreads." The fee is per market and "displayed directly on its market page". The public API showed a taker fee of 0 on 83 of 88 trading markets and 0.0001 (0.01%) on the other five, the crypto markets.
Fees by market and session
| Market | Session | Fee |
|---|---|---|
| ES and NQ (index futures perps) | All sessions | No fee |
| Crypto | All hours | 0.01% to open or close |
| Equities | Mon–Fri 4:00 AM–8:00 PM EST (regular, pre-market, extended) | No fee |
| Equities | Mon–Fri 8:00 PM–4:00 AM EST (overnight) | 0.05% |
| Equities | Sat–Sun | 0.10% |
| FX | Mon–Fri, all hours | No fee |
| FX | Sat–Sun | 0.25% |
Since 31 July 2026 non-crypto markets pause at weekends, so the weekend rows apply only while a market is open. A no-fee session is not a no-cost session: zkRisk charges risk premia and funding on each trade.
Funding
Funding is shown "as an 8 hour average" but "calculated and settled continuously". The hourly rate is the average premium index plus a clamp of the interest rate minus the premium to ±0.01%, with the interest rate set at 5% APY. The docs' example: a 0.02% premium gives 0.01% for that hour. The premium index is a one-minute time-weighted average of the perp against the spot index, and "funding rate premiums are not charged during weekend trading hours."
Liquidations
Liquidations are partial, and "because risk is fully priced in, there are zero liquidation penalties." The cost of a liquidation is the loss on the position itself.
Deposits and withdrawals
Accounts are funded with USDC. Withdrawals "are a minimum of $1"; the docs do not publish a withdrawal fee on the page read. Card and Apple Pay deposits go through the Coinbase onramp.
Vest Capital evaluation fees
Vest Capital sells funded accounts for a one-time evaluation fee, with up to 90% of profits to the trader:
| Tier | Account | Evaluation fee |
|---|---|---|
| Silver | $5k | $60 |
| Gold | $10k | $110 |
| Platinum | $25k | $275 |
