Hyperliquid on Mobile: Apps, QR Link, Wallet Notes

Facts verified against Hyperliquid's official docs on 2026-09-15. This site has not field-tested any mobile app and does not rank them; nothing here is based on hands-on use.

Hyperliquid's docs answer the mobile question by listing interfaces rather than by describing an app of their own. Knowing which entries are Hyperliquid's and which are third parties matters, because the third parties can charge a fee the protocol lets them charge.

What the docs list

"There are many different interfaces and apps you can use", the onboarding page says, and names five: Based ("web, iOS, Android"), Dexari ("iOS, Android"), MetaMask ("iOS, Android"), Phantom ("web extension, iOS, Android"), and app.hyperliquid.xyz ("web"). The only entry attributed to Hyperliquid itself is the web app; on the docs read on 2026-09-15, no Hyperliquid-branded native app appears in that list. Using the web app on a phone browser is the route the docs' mobile instructions assume.

Link a phone to your desktop wallet

The QR flow avoids installing a wallet on the phone at all: connect on desktop with an extension such as Rabby or MetaMask; on the phone, press "Connect" and choose "Link Desktop Wallet", which requests the camera; on the desktop, "click the PC+mobile icon in the top right of the navigation bar and sign the pop-up in your wallet extension"; scan the code. The phone is then linked to the desktop wallet's account. Email login — a 6-digit code — is the other keyless route and is covered on the connection page.

Third-party apps and builder fees

Any app that sends orders on your behalf can attach a builder code: a fee "at most 0.1% on perps and 1% on spot", charged only after you sign an approval with your main wallet, revocable at any time. The builder-codes page explains it. The docs do not say which of the listed apps use one; read the approval prompt before signing.

What the docs do not cover

No page read on the verification date describes push notifications, biometric login, or a mobile-specific order form. The Terms and privacy pages sit outside the docs index this site reads. If a mobile feature matters to you, the absence here means "not documented", not "not available".

FAQ

Is there an official Hyperliquid app on the App Store?

The docs' interface list attributes only the web app to Hyperliquid; the iOS and Android entries are Based, Dexari, MetaMask and Phantom. This site does not assert anything beyond that list.

Can I trade on mobile without installing a wallet?

Yes, per the docs: link the phone to a desktop wallet by QR, or log in with email.

Do fees differ on mobile?

Hyperliquid's fees do not depend on the device. A third-party app may add a builder fee within the protocol's caps.
